DANC 3525 - ArtsBridge Credits: (1-6) Typically Taught Summer Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Fall Semester: Full Sem Typically Taught Spring Semester: Full Sem Description: ArtsBridge is a course that provides undergraduate students with an internship and academic credit for designing and implementing a comprehensive, needs-based, integrated arts project with community organizations or area schools. The course will offer students a clear structure and process for navigating the complexities of community engagement. ArtsBridge students will work closely with a WSU faculty mentor, community/school stakeholder, peers, and the ArtsBridge program coordinator throughout the process culminating in the development of an arts integrated project. Pre-requisite(s): Recommendation by education supervisor in fine arts content area faculty mentor. Content methodology course(s) completed or in progress. Note: Following faculty recommendation, please contact the ArtsBridge coordinator for an interview.
